I had to go to Wal-mart today. My wife will attest, I'd rather get a punch square in the face than go to that hell-hole. The trip was made bearable by 3 things. My wife was the company and I saw a Lanius excubitor (Norther Shrike for those non-birders) and a Blue Jay. The rest of the day was spent indoors with the twins. Family time. No birds allowed.

ReplyDelete@ Seagull Steve. Wal-mart may not be punk, but surviving a trip there for me is harder on me than slam-dancing used to be. The soundtrack for Sunday was Howling Westerly Winds. Still working out the actual soundtrack but I'm making progress.
ReplyDelete@ Anto. The one in Bowmanville is the American style Wal-Mart. It's ten times the size of any other one. And the patrons are the same.
